Lately I’ve been in the mood to do some serious shopping, so I’ve created this wish list of dresses I think would be great for this spring. I’ve recently discovered the brand LuLus and have fallen in love with some of their clothes, so I thought I’d share a few pieces with you in case you’re in the mood to do some shopping too.
- Off the shoulder dress – I think I might have mentioned this in a previous post, but cold shoulder or off the shoulder dresses and shirts are going to be huge this spring and summer. I especially love this gray one because it can be worn casual or it can be dressed up. It is a very versatile piece that you could pair with anything. This dress is $32 at LuLus and you can find it here.
- Open-back dress – Another style that I think will be really fresh this spring and summer is a flowy, open-back dress. It’s not every day that we feel like slipping into a body con dress like the one above. Sometimes it’s easier to throw on a light airy dress, while still keeping it different by including the open back. I love this olive green color and definitely wear this color year round. This dress is $45 at LuLu’s and can be found here.
- Pattern Dress – A patterned dress is probably one of the easiest pieces to style. You don’t need to worry about bold jewelry or fancy handbags – just keep it simple and run out the door! I really love the pattern of this dress below and the looser fit will make sure it is comfortable all day.
- White embroidered dress – A white dress is a staple wardrobe item for spring. I love the way this blue embroidery adds a new and interesting twist on the basic white dress. It can be casual and it would even make a really cute swim suit cover up. It is $52 at LuLus and can be found here.
Plunging neckline black maxi dress – Another trend that I am loving is the deep plunging neckline. This look is usual worn for nights out, so I thought that a black maxi dress with this neckline would be beautiful for a date night or night out with the girls. I found two at LuLus that I absolutely love. One of them is a little more revealing, showing more skin, but I also included a beautiful dress that still incorporates this neckline, but is less revealing. The first one is $76 and can be found here. The second one is $72 and can be found here. These two are pretty pricey, so you could definitely find less expensive alternatives out there!
Hope you got some ideas from this post! I can’t wait for it to warm up so I can start wearing some cute dresses!
