Hey guys! As promised in my last post, here is a look I created using a couple new products I’ve recently hauled. If you want to check that post out, here is: Mini Beauty Haul. The star of the show for this look is definitely the Morphe 35O Palette. I used a lot of different shades for this look, but don’t be intimidated, it’s really easy!
Transition Shade: First, I picked up the shades labeled #1 and #2 on a fluffy crease brush and messily put this all throughout my crease. These two shades will act as a transition color so that all of the other shades will blend out seamlessly.
Crease Shade: I used a denser crease brush and picked up the shades labeled #3, #4, and #5 and focused on running those throughout my crease, in windshield wiper motions. You want to be more careful to keep these colors close to the crease, and as you have less product on your brush you can start to blend up toward your brow. (You don’t have to put only one shade on your brush at a time, I tend to mix two or three as I feel it gives me more dimension with less work!). These burnt orange shades give the eyes a really warm look.
Outer V: Next I took the shade labeled #6 and focused this on the out corner of my eyes as well as blending it into the crease. This warm brown tone just adds another layer of depth and dimension to the look.
Lid: I took shades #7 and #8 and placed them on my lids. I then blended out the edges with the fluffy crease brush to make sure there were no harsh lines.
Bottom Lash Line: I took shade #6 on a flat definer brush and applied it to my lower lash line. I then took shade #4 of a pencil brush and blended out the harsh lines.
Highlight: I used shade #9 to highlight the inner corner of the eye, and I used shade #10 to highlight my brow bone.
Here is the finished look! I hope you enjoyed! I would really love to hear feedback and any suggestions you may have 🙂
If you are interested in what products I used on the rest of my face, here they are!
Face: I primed my face with Maybelline Master Prime by Face Studio Primer. I then applied my L’Oreal Paris True Match Lumi Cushion Foundation with my Beauty Blender. For concealer I used a mixture of Urban Decay’s Naked Skin Weightless Concealer and Maybelline Face Studio Master Concealer. I then set my entire face with Make Up For Ever’s HD Pressed Powder, as always.
Contour, Blush, and Highlight: For contour, I used Kat Von D’s Shade and Light Contour Palette and for bronzer I used MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Give Me Sun! to warm up my skin. For blush I used Covergirl Classic Color Blush in Iced Plum. I highlighted with Becca’s Champagne Pop.
